Welcome to the Ritchie Group website!
We apply optical techniques to explore and exploit the way light interacts with matter. Our experiments include spectroscopic analysis of gases, photolysis, and reaction dynamics, as well as manipulation of colloidal systems using optical tweezers.
Chris Hutchinson and William Newland successfully completed their Part II vivas! They are now presumably off enjoying a well-deserved summer holiday.
A huge congratulations for Dr. Kim Whittaker who passed her DPhil viva. Well done!
Congratulations to Kim Whittaker for receiving an award for her poster at the annual meeting of the RSC Spectroscopy and Dynamics Interest Group!
